How can a repeated shape form a visually interesting structure? Building from the logic of the Biblioteca Espana in Medellin, Colombia, a cube is sliced and then aggregated.

The base cube shape was first 3D modeled, then flattened and exported as a template. 14 individual shapes were then hand-cut and assembled into the shape, then aggregated into a larger volume. Different colors signify how each polygon serves different programmatic uses, or a facade type.
